How to Gradually and Safely Resume Treatment

Governor Noem has updated her Executive Order for health care professionals and advises following CDC guidelines. For us, that means we are able to resume orthodontic treatment but we will be putting some strict guidelines into place to ensure the safety and health of all of our patients, visitors, and staff.

See the chart above. This is an outline of the key safety and protection processes we are putting into place. This combination of guidelines keeps our patients and staff safe by enforcing social distancing in the office, limiting concurrent appointments and number of people scheduled, and doing wellness screenings and increased PPE precautions.

We will be seeing 30% of our usual patient load for our slow opening in early May, and will be gradually increasing that to 75% by the end of May to continue to practice social distancing. In order to do so, we will be open Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm for the month of May and possibly into June.

If you’d like to learn more about our guidelines, feel free to call the office or email Dr. Paul.

Please note: our team will be contacting you to reschedule your appointments during this time, prioritizing those who haven’t been seen for the longest time.

As always, if you do not feel comfortable coming into our office please communicate that to our team. We will be offering virtual consultations for any patient to check in on treatment progress, or to address a concern.

We love what we do and can’t wait to see our patients again! Wishing you and yours good health.
